Citymeals on Wheels will be following official guidance from the CDC, the New York State Department of Health, and the New York City Department of Health and as well as with advice from the Mayor’s Office of Citywide Event Coordination and Management.

Citymeals on Wheels’ commitment to health and safety remains of the utmost importance. For this reason, we have established the following Covid-19 safety protocols for all in-person events and gatherings until further notice:

  • All guests 12 years and older will be required to show proof of vaccination and photo identification.
  • Approved vaccines include Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen and must have been administered at least 14 days prior to the event.
  • Mask wearing is optional for guests during the event.

In addition to proof of vaccination, Citymeals will follow local guidelines in determining whether testing will be required prior to or at the event.

The Plaza staff, Citymeals staff and event volunteers will also be required to provide proof of a full Covid-19 vaccination prior to the event.

By purchasing a seat or table, you understand and agree to adhere to these guidelines for on-site attendance.

Potential cancellation of the Power Lunch will be determined no later than November 1st. If cancelled, your seat or table purchase will be considered a fully tax-deductible donation to Citymeals.
