In 1986, Citymeals Founder Gael Greene and then-Board Member Joan Weill conceived the Power Lunch for Women — our biggest fundraising event of the year — as a spoof on the concept of the men's power breakfast. The 37th Annual Power Lunch is at The Plaza on November 20, 2024.
Decades later, we're still bringing together friends — old and new — to join us in the fight to end elder hunger. Over the years, Power Lunch has raised more than $32 million in support of Citymeals' mission.
