Citymeals was founded in 1981 by caring members of the culinary community. Since then, our friends in the food world have been essential in helping ensure a lifeline of nourishing meals for older New Yorkers in need. 

The Citymeals Culinary Circle was established by Board Members Chef Daniel Boulud and Chef Charlie Palmer to rally support from local chefs, restaurateurs and culinary influencers. Together, they support Citymeals through events and partnerships, volunteer opportunities and raising awareness of our mission.
