For over a decade, Yoko Ono, Bag One Arts and Legacy Productions have brought a special exhibition of John Lennon’s art to his adopted home of New York City. The exhibit, “The Artwork of John Lennon,” featured nearly 100 limited edition drawings and songwritings that John created from his youth in 1964 to his untimely death in 1980. In the spirit of John and Yoko’s generosity, the show benefited Citymeals on Wheels. "The Artwork of John Lennon" raised $20,000 total from the combination of donations at the door, a raffle, and generous contributions from Legacy Productions and Invesco.

“The Artwork of John Lennon” ran from Friday, October 5 through Tuesday, October 9, John Lennon’s birthday. The event was mentioned on various television networks, including Fox 5, CBS 2 News, WNBC Today, and CBS Sunday Morning.
