Welcoming New Board Members

With the start of our new Fiscal Year, we welcomed new members to our Board of Directors and the Citymeals family: Kenny Lane, Diana Carone and Steven Soutendijk. Three individuals with distinguished backgrounds, they bring their unique expertise to support our mission.

Kenny Lane was introduced to Citymeals by his sister, longtime Board Member Lizzie Tisch. He has packed meal boxes at our Emergency Meal Distribution Center in the Bronx and delivered meals to his homebound elderly neighbors across the city. Kenny comes to the Board with many years of experience in finance. He is currently a portfolio manager and financial advisor at Bernstein Private Wealth Management.

Diana Carone has been a longtime supporter of Citymeals, including our Power Lunch for Women and the Annual Sunday Supper at DANIEL. She has over a decade of experience raising funds for philanthropic causes in New York City.

Steve

Steve Soutendijk began volunteering with Citymeals many years back and served as Co-Chair of Citymeals’ Young Professionals Committee, helping spearhead our Don’t Eat ‘til Brooklyn event and other key partnerships. During the Covid-19 crisis, Steve has been delivering meals to vulnerable seniors across the five boroughs. He is currently executive managing director at Cushman & Wakefield Retail Services.

Without the support and contributions from the Board, Citymeals would not be what it is today. We look forward to collaborating with our new, dynamic Board Members in the years to come.
