Describe what you do at Citymeals.

I am a Donor & Fundraising Operations Associate. My main responsibilities are supporting our monthly donors as part of the Month of Sundays Club, running our seasonal Holiday Card program and providing customer support for all donor-related issues.

What do you enjoy about working for Citymeals?

I enjoy having meaningful interactions with donors over the phone. I always ensure that whomever is on the other side feels connected and I try to project my sincerity in their questions and concerns. Prior to my current position, I worked in the Database Department for over three years. The knowledge and experience I’ve gained helps me immensely when collaborating with the staff.

What inspires you?

Life inspires me. There is a lesson to be learned each passing day, and it is important to be grateful for everything we experience. I dealt with many hardships growing up, due to my past medical history fighting cancer. But because of those hardships, I have grown to be a more loving and caring person. I think my upbeat personality is transparent through my work at Citymeals.

What is something you hope you can always do, regardless of age?

I’m a very curious person. My brain loves to pick things apart to figure out how everything works from every angle. I hope to maintain this quirky mindset when I become older.

What would you like people to know about Citymeals?

Citymeals on Wheels is not just a service, it is a family and you are a part of it whether you are one of our donors, volunteers or meal recipients. If you feel that an elderly friend or relative is in need of our assistance, know that we will always be here to help.
