Like the majority of our homebound elderly, 78-year-old Zoila lives all alone. Her husband passed away years ago and her only child and grandson live thousands of miles away.
Sadly, thousands of our meal recipients are just like Zoila — unable to leave their homes and having no one with whom they can talk. Just a few kind words will bring joy into their hearts and homes.
