THE CREAMSICLES
… are cracking through the New York concrete to the light at the end of the rock & roll tunnel. Influenced by Classic Rock and Funk to Surf and Gypsy Punk, their lyrics are about the freedom and loneliness of the road and the alienation of a stranger in a strange land.

PAPERDOLL
While playing acoustic shows in NYC's The Bitter End, piano and opera prodigy Teresa met Patrick the week he moved from Dublin, where he was the lead guitarist in a traditional Irish band that toured Europe. After playing as a duo they met Jack, a New Jersey native and designer who'd played bass in numerous local bands. Jack's high school bandmate Chip joined shortly after, having recently returned to his first love - drumming - after a 4 year stint as a 1st team All-American Division I lacrosse player. Talented and well-polished, the multi-faceted group are known for high energy shows and memorable hooks.

MEN WITH BIG HIPS ALL-STAR REVIEW
… was birthed back in 1991, and has the distinction of having played the very first Media Battle of the Bands in 1994. With most of the original line-up intact (augmented by some special guest stars flown in just for the evening), the band is thrilled to be back for the 14th annual event. Their current repertoire is heavily blues-flavored, with influences ranging from classic rock outfits (the Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead and Rolling Stones) to 1970's-era adult film soundtracks.

LIQUID CAROUSEL
… has been delivering hook-laden rock & roll for nearly 13 years. With the release of their latest CD "…in a moment of clarity," the band creates pure rock-pop gems full of roaring guitars, lush harmonies, and commanding lead vocals. It's their dedication to the craft of songwriting that has kept the band progressing and prolific throughout their career. The New York Times wrote: "Liquid Carousel's newer songs contain more involved musical arrangements than their [previous] efforts… and are suggestive of top notch alternative rock bands like Pearl Jam."
