Stanley Isaacs Deliverer’s

Despite twenty inches of snow, meal deliverers from Carter Burden, Encore and Stanley Isaacs Senior Centers, and others across the city, braved the February 26th snow storm to get meals to the city’s homebound elderly. Many meal centers delivered two meals on Thursday in anticipation of the storm. Throughout the city, the frail aged we serve received their meals without disruption. Our deepest thanks goes out to cooks, drivers, deliverers and all those who helped ensure nearly 17,000 meals got to the doors of those who needed them.
