Volunteer Group Profile: Credit Suisse

This past October, over 45 volunteers from Credit Suisse delivered Columbus Day food packages to more than 60 homebound seniors in the Murray Hill and Stuyvesant Town areas. Each package contained three nutritious shelf-stable meals, to ensure that all seniors were well-taken care of, while their meal centers were closed for the long weekend. Oftentimes meal deliverers are the only face-to-face contact our seniors have. It can be lonesome for our seniors, and volunteers truly make a difference. In addition to delivering the holiday boxes, 16 Credit Suisse volunteers brought hot meals to our homebound elderly from the Carter Burden Senior Center on the Upper East Side. Credit Suisse hopes to make this an annual event.
