I love participating as a Volunteer for Citymeals-on-Wheels! This year, I responded to thank you notes written by the homebound elderly to Citymeals-on-Wheels. In their writing, they expressed gratitude for the meals and ‘care’ packages (lovingly nicknamed by the recipients.) As many of the letters expressed, the deliveries and correspondence they receive from Citymeals-on-Wheels are often the only sources of contact they have with anyone for months at a time. I am proud to continue to volunteer with Citymeals-on-Wheels in any way that I can.
