Event Sponsorships

Citymeals-on-Wheels hosts several fundraising events each year attracting business leaders, celebrities and gourmands. Theses events are excellent venues for corporate entertaining. An event sponsorship will add value to your brand with strong visibility on invitations, event journals, advertising and more. Learn more about our events.

Round-Up Program

Round-Up is a way for New York supermarkets, restaurants, retailers and their customers to raise money for New York’s frail aged. Customers “round up” their transaction $1, $3, $5 or more to support Citymeals. This easily implemented promotion links your company with our high profile cause.

Eat Cheap for Charity

A turnkey initiative designed specifically for law firms’ summer associate programs. Eat Cheap for Charity encourages participants to “brown-bag” their lunch once a week during the summer (or have a pizza party, etc.). In return, participating firms donate the associates’ lunch allowance for the day(s) to Citymeals-on-Wheels. Eat Cheap is a great way to create and enhance camaraderie among summer associates while helping New York shut-ins eat lunch as well.

Mother’s Day - Real-Estate Campaign

The real estate community celebrates Mother’s Day, by providing meals for New York’s homebound aged, over 75% of whom are women. Citymeals recognizes these contributors in a full-page advertisement in the New York Times.

Have-A-Heart Campaign

Customize a program for your employees to work together to help their elderly neighbors. Have-a-Heart programs include Round Ups in corporate cafeterias, adopting Citymeals-on-Wheels as a special charity for employee donations, making a donation for a designated “dress-down” day, holding a fundraising auction or golf outing.

Van Sponsorship

Increase your company’s visibility by sponsoring the vans used to deliver meals to homebound elderly seniors throughout the five boroughs of New York City.

Matching Gifts

Provide matching gifts for contributions made by your employees to Citymeals-on-Wheels. Learn more about setting up a matching gift program from your company.

Emergency Packages

Let New York’s homebound elderly know they can count on you; sponsor our emergency boxes. We will incorporate your logo onto the cards that accompany the more than 17,500 boxes we send quarterly to our meal recipients. These packages provide shelf-stable foods to ensure meal recipients are prepared in the event of an emergency situation.

Holiday Packages

When local meal centers close for holiday observances Citymeals delivers shelf-stable meals so aged clients have food during these times. Each box carries nutritious staples and festive treats. You can sponsor any of more than fourteen holiday deliveries and include a special greeting in every package you sponsor.

Public Service Announcements

Take advantage of Citymeals’ charity advertising rates in publications like The New York Times by designing and underwriting public service announcements and/or donor acknowledgments from your industry.

Customized Co-Marketing

Citymeals will work with you to develop and implement a joint marketing program to meet your business needs.

Holiday Cards

Spread cheer with Citymeals-on-Wheels holiday cards. Each card purchased delivers a nutritious meal to a homebound elderly New Yorker. Cards can be personalized to meet your business or personal needs.

Volunteer

New York businesses and their employees are becoming involved with Citymeals on a truly personal level. Learn more about volunteering opportunities.
