Constance, a native New Yorker, has lived in Brooklyn all of her 94 years. Talking with her gives a glimpse into a bygone era. In the late 1930s, she was introduced to horseback riding when her sister married a young man who ran an academy. “My sister and I knew the horse trails in Prospect Park like the back of our hands,” she remembered with a smile.
