PaperDoll

PaperDoll is high-energy pop at its best, blending shrewd instrumentation with solid hooks and refreshingly honest vocals by frontwoman Teresa Lee. Their recently completed debut album was produced by Nic Hard (The Bravery, Aberdeen City); the band is currently booking dates for their 2008 East Coast tour. PaperDoll’s ebullient live performances have entertained crowds at legendary New York City hotspots the Knitting Factory, Crash Mansion, and CBGBs. Their sounds has been compared to The Killers, Weezer, “early No Doubt with soul,” and “The Bravery with a touch of Sublime.”

Men with Big Hips

With most of the original line-up intact (augmented by some special guest stars flown in just for the evening), the band is thrilled to be back for the 15th annual event. Their current repertoire is heavily blues-flavored, with influences ranging from classic rock outfits (The Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead and Rolling Stones) to 1970’s-era adult film soundtracks.
