The Highline Ballroom

This year’s Battle of the Bands: Rock the Decades benefiting Citymeals-on-Wheels rocked like never before as top media and cable executives traded in their suits and ties for an evening of rock and roll at The Highline Ballroom. Guests enjoyed a night of music and mingling with all new industry bands and a DJ, an open bar, tasting tables from the best local restaurants, and exciting contests and raffles – all while helping New York’s homebound elderly. We kept the name, but everything else about this event was brand new and better than ever.
Over the years, the Battle of the Bands has become one of the most popular events of the year for the media and television industries. Since its inception in 1993, Battle of the Bands has helped raise over $3 million, enough to deliver more than 600,000 meals. This year’s Battle raised more than $267,000 – thanks to the generous support of dozens of cable networks and major advertising and media agencies.
