A Casual Supper with Daniel Boulud
For the past thirteen years, Chef Daniel Boulud has celebrated every major event in the life of his restaurant with a benefit for Citymeals-on-Wheels. This tradition has turned into an annual spring celebration, with Daniel personally hosting an intimate Sunday gathering that has become the gourmand event of the season. On March 25, 150 patrons and friends of Citymeals will gather at DANIEL for a casual yet exquisite feast. The event will again feature a silent auction of rare wine and other unique packages, as well as a live auction of one-of-a-kind travel and dining destinations.
With the help of wine chair Daniel Johnnes, last year's gala reached new heights. The dinner, together with the La Paulée de New York auction in February, raised over $728,000 for Citymeals – enough to provide more than 113,300 meals to homebound, aged New Yorkers. We are very grateful to Chef Daniel and look forward to making this year’s event an even greater success!
