On Monday, June 6, 2016, star chefs – from here in New York City and around the world – will gather at Rockefeller Center for ¡Qué rico! Celebrating Latino Cuisine & Culture: The 31st Annual Chefs’ Tribute to Citymeals on Wheels to create Latin-inspired dishes for more than 1,000 guests.

No matter how you spend your Sunday mornings – getting in an early run or waking up for a late brunch – spend Sunday, May 15th supporting Citymeals in the Generosity Series Brooklyn 5K Run/Walk in Prospect Park. Help raise $200 to fund the preparation and delivery of more than 30 meals to a homebound elderly neighbor! All are welcome and encouraged to participate.

On Sunday, Citymeals Board Co-President Chef Daniel Boulud hosted his 19th Annual Sunday Supper at Restaurant DANIEL – one of New York City’s most elegant dining destinations.

In 1981, restaurant critic Gael Greene and chef and cookbook author James Beard founded Citymeals on Wheels after reading a New York Times article about their homebound elderly having nothing to eat on weekends and holidays.
