On Sunday, March 8th, Citymeals Board Co-President Daniel Boulud will host "Black Truffles and Blue Jeans," an annual benefit for Citymeals-on-Wheels. Chef Daniel will welcome Chef Jacques Chibois from La Bastide Saint Antoine in Grasse, France to join him in the kitchen. This intimate and exquisite dinner for 150 guests, chaired by Citymeals Board Vice President Robert S.

Citymeals-on-Wheels provides an opportunity to elevate the traditional fine dining experience through the Citymeals Dineout, “The Best Tables in Town.” Since 1984, the annual program has inspired some of New York City’s most prominent and charitable restaurants.

For years the restaurant community has been an integral part of Citymeals’ success, but two years ago, Citymeals Board Co-President Chef Daniel Boulud wanted to get New York City chefs even more involved.

For many years, our city’s young professionals – New Yorkers who are 40 years old or younger – have supported Citymeals through volunteer outings and events.

In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Citymeals joined hundreds of organizations throughout the country in celebrating the Day of Service.
